Machine Shop Technician
THE ROLE
As a Machine Shop Technician, you will be responsible for:
Assisting the Production Manager in a variety of manufacturing tasks
Manufacturing components to engineering specifications
Tracking, recording, and documenting of work orders
Maintaining a high level of workshop safety
Material inventory management
Tool upkeep and management
Maintaining a clean and tidy work environment
Criteria - Required
Experience in a similar role
Familiarity with the safe use of hand and power tools
Ability to obtain a National Security Clearance. This requires candidates to be Australian citizens
General fabrication skills
Criteria - Desired
Experience with lathe operations, welding, or composites manufacturing
Experience working with international standards, such as ISO 9001, AS9100, and ASME Y14.5
NV1 Security Clearance (preferred).
