Global Supply Chain, Inventory and Logistics Lead
THE ROLE
As the Global Supply Chain, Inventory and Logistics Lead you will be responsible for:
Integrating Supply Chain and Logistics functions to maximize efficiencies and deliver performance excellence.
Implementing best practices in forecasting, demand planning, stock optimization, and procurement processes.
Managing inventory and logistics team members
Analysing shipping and delivery data to resolve bottlenecks and other issues.
Ensuring all supply chain requirements are met cost-effectively and on time.
Collaborating with stakeholders to forecast demand and create supply chain plans supporting R&D and production.
Coordinating supply chain management with Finance and Manufacturing
Developing Supplier Quality standards and implementing supplier audits.
Monitoring supplier performance to meet quality and delivery requirements.
Keeping leadership and stakeholders informed of projects, plans, and any variations.
Identifying opportunities to reuse or recycle materials to minimize waste.
Maintaining high housekeeping standards and improving systems as needed.
Criteria - Required
5+ years of leadership experience in a competitive supply chain environment.
Excellent knowledge of supply chain processes.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good understanding of Health, Safety, and Environmental legislation/requirements
Exceptional communication skills
Experience with implementing and using supply chain management and inventory management software and systems
Strategic approach with experience using technology to enhance productivity while maintaining a positive and engaged culture.
Strong analytical and reporting skills.
Criteria - Desired
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related fields.
NV1 Security Clearance eligible (preferred).
